Semper Speed and Marine is looking for highly motivated individuals to enter the exciting world of boating. We carry a huge selection of tow boats/surf boats, pontoons and fishing boats. We are a team of boating enthusiasts that are passionate about our customers and the services we provide. We not only service the boats we sell, but have a huge service clientele with a variety of different brands of boats and engines. We are seeking someone who is good with people and able to multitask, in a fast past environment. This person will have a lot of interaction with customer both on the phone and in person. As a Service Advisor you will primarily be responsible for initiating and processing requests for repair service and keeping customers apprised of work progress. JOB DUTY CONSISTS OF: --- Ability to greet customers in a warm, friendly manner. --- Answer and schedule service appointment phone calls. --- Check in boats; create work orders stating customer's concerns. --- Prepare quotes and get authorizations. --- Bill and collect for services performed. --- Ability to keep current on manufacturer's bulletins and recalls. --- Submit warranty claims to manufacturers. --- May have to order parts and check in parts. --- Assist customers with parts purchases. --- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices --- Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending --- Must be able to work Saturdays Qualified candidates should be energetic, self-motivated, with a High School diploma or equivalent.
