THE ROLE:This position is designed for a seasoned technical leader
who combines deep expertise in IT infrastructure, applications, and
big data technologies with robust program management acumen.THE
PERSON:The ideal candidate will excel in orchestrating complex
technical projects and initiatives while ensuring seamless
alignment between strategic business goals and technical execution.
As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you'll drive program
efficiency, foster innovation, and ensure robust governance across
cross-functional teams.KEY RESPONSIBILITES:Technical Leadership &
Strategy
- Architect and oversee IT infrastructure projects, advanced
application integrations, and big data initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to enhance system
performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Provide technical direction and mentorship to teams, ensuring
best practices in design, development, and operations.
- Act as a technical expert, resolving complex issues and guiding
architectural decisions.Program Management & Execution
- Develop, manage, and execute comprehensive project plans for
multi-disciplinary technical programs.
- Coordinate between technology teams, business stakeholders,
vendors, and external partners to ensure project deliverables are
met on time and within budget.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks throughout program
lifecycles.
- Establish metrics and reporting tools to monitor program
performance and drive continuous improvement.Cross-Functional
Collaboration
- Bridge the gap between technical teams and business units,
ensuring translation of business requirements into viable technical
solutions.
- Lead cross-functional meetings to review project status,
resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical
audiences, ensuring alignment and informed decision-making.Process
and Innovation
- Champion automation, agile methodologies, and process
improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement, leveraging data
insights and industry best practices.
- Support strategic planning, budgeting, and resource forecasting
to align technical programs with overall business
initiatives.PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
- Progressive experience in IT infrastructure, application
development, and data management.
- Proven track record in managing complex technical programs and
cross-functional teams.
- IaC (Infrastructure as Code) experience using Ansible,
Terraform, Puppet, Prometheus or Grafana.Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure components, network
architectures, cloud platforms, and cybersecurity.
- Hands-on experience with big data technologies like Iceberg and
DeltaLake.
- Familiarity with modern software development practices, system
integration, and application performance optimization.
- Experience with DevOps, microservices architecture, and
containerization technologies.
- Familiarity with emerging technologies such as AI/ML
integration in data management and infrastructure
optimization.Program Management Skills:
- Proficiency in program/project management methodologies (e.g.,
Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira).
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving
abilities.
- Experience in risk management, budgeting, and strategic
planning.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, Scrum, or Agile
certifications.Communication & Leadership:
- Proven ability to lead diverse teams and influence stakeholders
at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to present technical concepts clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in fast-paced,
dynamic environments.ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, Engineering, or a related field.LOCATION:San Jose,
