Job Description:
Design Engineer – Electronic sought by Keiser Corporation in
Fresno, CA. 40 hrs/wk. Duties: Be able to start a project or
process from a blank sheet of paper and work independently to a
completed design. Participate in all aspects on integrated
hardware/software system development including planning,
configuration management, change control, problem reporting, review
of artifacts, testing, quality issue resolution, and documenting
verification results. Develop electronics for products, including
microcontroller selection, LED control, miniature motor control,
sensor integration and control, low power design, analog design,
switching power supply selection, RF. Design with Multisim and
Ultiboard for embedded circuit boards. Produce and/or evaluate
possible design solutions for electronic assemblies to improve
cost, quality and performance based on electronic design knowledge
of engineering applications together with the involvement of
manufacturing, mechanical, software. Develop hardware to meet IEC,
UL, IPC, RoHS, CE and other applicable standards. IEC 60601-1
desired. Design with communication protocols, including Ethernet,
BLE, USB, SPI, I2C, RS485. Read and use schematics and component
data sheets for design and troubleshooting. Provide support to
fabrication, manufacturing and production. Perform hands-on duties
with electrical test equipment (e.g. multimeters, oscilloscopes,
network analyzers, function generators, logical analyzers,
soldering, crimping, building cables). Salary range: $75,150 to
$100,000/ year Min. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or foreign
equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field, and 1 year
of experience in the job offered or in the role of Electronic
Engineer, Electric Engineer or related occupation. Special Skills:
1 year of experience in electronics troubleshooting. 1 year of
