Looking for an experienced automotive financial expert that can handle the growth our company is experiencing. Essential Job Functions: Strategic Operations Planning and Management Primary strategist for the Associations financial management to optimize the handling of bank Assisting in acquisition of new dealerships to evaluate the financials of prospective store relationships. Initiates appropriate strategies to enhance cash position. Responsible for the development of a capital structure that fuels the Companies growth. Supervises investment of funds Plans, develops, organizes, implements, directs and evaluates the organizations fiscal function and performance. Participates in the development of the corporations short-term and long-term plans and programs as a strategic partner. Evaluates and advises on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial reports and financial trends in order to assist the Dealer Principle in performing his responsibilities. Provides strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the Company; i.e., evaluation of investments, handling of cash thresholds; ensuring the long-term financial health of the Association. Directs the preparation of financial reports, including revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, reports to the Dealer Principle, tax returns, reports for government regulatory agencies, development and monitoring of the organizational budgets. Prepare long-term and annual business plan for the Finance Services. Manage Finance performance to achieve annual financial budget or approved adjustments during the year. Provide oversight to Admin to ensure cash flow is managed and budgets achieve goals and targets. Human Resources Planning and Management Ensure the Finance department interviews and selects the right staff who bring the head and heart together to achieve excellence through their technical and personal abilities to further the Finance goals. Advise on the development of workforce requirements. Establish a positive, healthy and safe work environment in accordance with all appropriate legislation and regulations. Oversee the performance of the office, ensuring clarity in objectives, results against those objectives, and behavior are factored into performance assessment. Develop talent to meet needs for future leadership, utilizing a combination of formal training, mentoring, and job responsibilities Working Relationships Reports To: Principle People Management Responsibility: Finance Works Closely With: (Internally) Senior Leadership Team, Executive Committee, Finance Committee (Externally) Banks and Investment Officers Essential Knowledge, Skills, and Training & Development Non-physical Ability to read, analyze, and interpret highly complex documents. Ability to respond effectively to the highly sensitive inquiries/issues. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics Physical Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Ability to effectively represent the Association to financial partners, including financial institutions, auditors, public officials, etc. Ability to collaborate/partner with the Senior Leadership Team and cross-functional business units to understand the Association needs and develop financial strategy to meet those needs. Actively learns, demonstrates and fosters corporate culture in all actions and words. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. Ability to understand the fundamental business drivers and communicate the state of business and provide strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership Team and Finance Committee. Proven ability to keep a big picture perspective while dealing with very detailed information. Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information. Positive and constructive attitude.
