WittKieffer is pround to partner with Valley Children's Healthcare on their search for a Senior Vice President, Finance (SVP). The SVP will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO, Board of Trustees and senior leadership team in providing expert counsel regarding the financial performance of the organization and strategies for its growth and development. Valley Children's has a rich history of serving children and their families. Seventy years ago, five founding mothers had a dream to build a hospital in the Central Valley just for children. Valley Children's has grown and flourished ever since, caring for generations of children since 1952. The organization is extremely strong financially and has substantial plans for the future. Valley Children's network offers highly specialized medical and surgical services to care for children with conditions ranging from common to the highly complex at its 358-bed stand-alone children's hospital that includes 28 regional neonatal intensive care unit beds. In addition, the Valley Children's network includes specialty care centers, pediatric primary care practices and women's health services. Reporting to the CEO, the SVP leads the accounting, financial management and treasury functions of Valley Children's Healthcare and establishes financial reporting systems and controls to safeguard the assets of the organization. The SVP actively participates in and supports the development and implementation of the strategic goals and objectives of the organization. This individual will provide leadership and execution for planning, implementing, and coordinating a wide variety of strategic and operational initiatives that serve to ensure effective and appropriate management of fiscal resources for Valley Children's as well as present and future affiliates that develop within the integrated delivery system. The ideal candidate will be collaborative, decisive and able to balance financial strategy and operations. Interested candidates should have a minimum of 10 years of healthcare experience and/or Public Accounting experience combined. Master's degree in finance or accounting or CPA is highly preferred.
