From your first day on the team, you will be paired with a primary
preceptor from Med Surg where you will start your orientation, in
addition to a Telemetry education team resource. After your
completed Med Surg orientation period (anywhere from 3-6 months),
you will progress and start Telemetry orientation and training.
Through hands on training, shadow experiences, and classroom
education (including basic arrhythmia and ACLS - all paid training)
you will be prepared for success and future growth.

In your Med Surg rotation, you will work in a 70 bed unit where you
will learn to care for lower acuity patients at a slower pace. You
will care for a variety of post-operative surgical patients who
have had orthopedic and thoracic procedures to complex abdominal
surgeries. The Med Surg rotation will help to establish a beginning
foundation for your nursing skills.
When you progress to our 60 bed Telemetry unit, you will encounter
a variety of patients: complex medical patients with multiple
comorbidities, complex surgical patients, step down patients, and
post-procedure patients. We pride ourselves on creating an

Qualifications:Experience and Education Minimum Requirements:
Graduate of approved nursing program required.
RN, current State of California Registered Nurse license
BLS, current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by
American Heart Association (AHA) required.
