Job Description:
Contract: Respiratory Therapists Location: Mariposa, CA SnapCare
is seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist to
join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible
for assessing, treating, and caring for patients with breathing or
cardiopulmonary disorders. You will collaborate closely with
physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver
high-quality patient care across various settings including ICU,
ER, and general units. Current state licensure Registered
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification BLS Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures, including
oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Operate and monitor ventilators and life support equipment in
critical care settings Assess patient respiratory status using
physical examinations and diagnostic tools (e.g., arterial blood
gases, spirometry) Educate patients and families on treatment
plans, medication usage, and home-care instructions Collaborate
with physicians to develop and adjust patient care plans Document
therapy procedures, observations, and patient responses accurately
in medical records Respond to emergency situations such as code
blues and rapid response calls Maintain cleanliness and
functionality of respiratory equipment Ensure compliance with
hospital protocols, infection control, and safety standards
