Job Description:
INPATIENT ADULT PSYCHIATRIST - Madera, California River Vista
Behavioral Health is the San Joaquin Valley area's newest
behavioral health facility. The facility provides a full continuum
of inpatient services, including units to serve children and
adolescents. Specialty programs for adults with co-occurring
behavioral health and substance use issues are offered to meet the
unique needs of this patient population. In addition, the facility
offers robust outpatient programs to address the most prevalent
behavioral health concerns, including child, adolescent, and family
counseling, and treatment for depression, anxiety disorders, and
other common behavioral health issues. We are seeking an additional
adult psychiatrist to join our growing team! DETAILS: PRN position
with the possibility of expanding to full-time in the future, if
desired Responsible for initial evaluations and assessments,
treatment team leadership, and daily care of assigned adult
patients. Average 15 total patient encounters per day. Caseload
consists of ages 18 and older. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: MD/DO degree
from an accredited program (required). Board certified or board
eligible in Psychiatry (required). Licensed to practice in the
State of CA or the ability to obtain a CA medical license. Meets
all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.
