Job Description:
Vituity, a premier healthcare management services organization,
is seeking a dedicated and visionary Assistant Medical Director to
enhance our leadership within the hospital environment. The
candidate will play a crucial role in interfacing between the
administrative and clinical functions of the hospital. With a focus
on emergency medicine, hospital medicine, critical care,
anesthesiology, and acute psychiatry, this role is pivotal in
optimizing patient outcomes, driving innovation in care processes,
and fostering a collaborative workplace. Collaborate with the
Medical Director to design and implement clinical policies and
procedures. Oversee the daily operations of various medical
departments, ensuring compliance with regulatory bodies. Support
the training and development of staff to uphold excellence in
patient care. Monitor and evaluate treatment outcomes, modifying
practices to enhance efficacy as needed. Participate in the
recruitment and retention of clinicians and support staff.
Facilitate meetings within departments to address concerns and
foster a proactive approach to healthcare delivery. Serve as a
clinical leader during on-site emergencies, providing direct care
when necessary. Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to
handle high-stress situations calmly and effectively. In-depth
knowledge of hospital workflow and healthcare regulations.
Capability to lead improvement initiatives in a clinical
environment. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Board Certified in a relevant specialty, such
as Emergency Medicine, Critical Care, or Anesthesiology. Valid
state medical license.
