Join Our Team as a Locum Physician OB Hospitalist in Visalia, CA

shine. Key Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive obstetric care
in a Level III NICU setting, managing approximately 4,690 hospital
deliveries annually. Cover unassigned OB patients within the pseudo
laborist program, ensuring seamless patient care. Respond to
emergent gynecological cases and support community providers during
multiple emergencies. Collaborate with residents from Family
Medicine programs rotating through OBED/L&D. Maintain readiness
with 24/7 in-house anesthesia coverage. No outpatient
responsibilities; focus exclusively on inpatient obstetric care.
Required Skills: Valid medical license to practice in California.
Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology. Proven
experience in labor and delivery, including emergent GYN
procedures. Ability to handle high-volume obstetric cases
efficiently and safely. Strong communication and teamwork skills
with a focus on patient safety. Nice to Have Skills: Experience
working within a pseudo laborist model or similar coverage systems.
Familiarity with Level III NICU operations. Prior involvement with
residency programs or teaching environments. Bilingual abilities to
serve a diverse patient population. Preferred Education and
Experience: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution. Minimum
of 2 years of obstetric inpatient experience. Certification in
Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support
(ACLS). Other Requirements: Availability for 24-hour shifts from
7:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Must hold or obtain relevant state licensure
and certifications. Willingness to travel as applicable for
licensure or licensing reimbursements. Commitment to providing
excellent patient care in a hospital setting. This is an excellent
