Job Description:
Vi is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Director
of Nursing to help lead our nursing team in providing exemplary
care tailored to the individual needs of seniors in our luxurious
continuing care retirement communities. Situated in a supportive
work environment that prioritizes both personal and professional
growth, this role is crucial for ensuring the high standards of
healthcare that Vi's communities have become known for. The
Assistant Director of Nursing will report directly to the Director
of Nursing and play a key role in developing and implementing
nursing care plans, supervising nursing staff, and maintaining
compliance with healthcare regulations. Assist the Director of
Nursing in overseeing the daily operations of the nursing
department. Develop and implement nursing care plans in conjunction
with the healthcare team. Ensure compliance with all local, state,
and federal regulations pertaining to health care and privacy.
Supervise and evaluate staff to ensure high standards of nursing
care and performance. Coordinate training programs for nursing
staff to maintain a competent workforce. Act as an advocate for
residents' wellness and safety by ensuring a clean and safe
environment. Manage resources and budget for the nursing department
effectively. Participate in senior living community activities and
committee meetings as necessary. Strong leadership and
organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Comprehensive understanding of healthcare and nursing
principles, methods, procedures, and standards Ability to develop
and maintain detailed healthcare documentation and patient records
Capability to train and motivate healthcare staff Conflict
resolution and problem-solving skills 401k Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of employment CPR and First Aid
certification Preferred: Certified in Gerontology Nursing
