Learn more on our Benefits page. /n/nResponsibilities:/n The Child Life Specialist is responsible for the assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of care plans to provide for the psychosocial, behavioral, recreational, developmental and educational needs of hospitalized children, based upon the child's age and developmental needs for a designated period of time. /n/nQualifications:/n Education - Bachelor's Degree in Child Life or related field required - Master's Degree in Child Life or related field preferred - Completion of 600-hour child life internship that meets the Association of Child Life Professionals (ACLP) required Experience - 2 years of experience working with children in clinical settings required Licenses and Certifications - BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required - Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS) to be obtained within a year of hire /n/nDisclaimers:/n • Pay ranges listed are an estimate and subject to change. • If any bonuses are noted, they are only applicable to external hires meeting criteria.
