CT Tech Location: King City, CA Agency: Mindlance Health Pay: $2,863 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position ID: 75720682 Shift: 4/10's - Shift Variable Description: Diagnostic Mammographer Location: King City, CAFacility: Mee Memorial Healthcare SystemEmployment Type: Full-Time | Non-Exempt Job Summary Mee Memorial Healthcare System is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Mammographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. This role is responsible for performing high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups. The technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists and other imaging professionals to ensure accurate imaging, efficient workflow, and an exceptional patient experience. JD Diagnostic Mammography-Radio Key Responsibilities Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols Ensure proper positioning, image quality, and adherence to ALARA radiation safety principles Review physician orders and coordinate imaging exams with radiologists and other imaging modalities Track and retrieve prior mammography images for comparison and interpretation Provide patient education on breast health and self-examination Serve as a technical resource for breast imaging, quality control, and equipment operation Advocate for patients by coordinating care to minimize inconvenience and delays Participate in departmental committees and assist with outreach and mammography service promotion Take call as assigned and perform other duties as required Required Qualifications ARRT registration in Radiography and Mammography Active California Radiologic Technologist License Active California Mammographic Technologist License Active California Fluoroscopic Radiologic Technologist License American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Certification California Venipuncture Certificate (required within 3 months of hire) Minimum of 5 years of mammography technologist experience Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand and walk 4 6 hours per day Ability to bend, reach, crouch, balance, and push equipment as needed Ability to lift up to 35 pounds Exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, and chemical agents Provide care to patients across the lifespan Why Mee Memorial Healthcare System Collaborative, community-focused healthcare environment Opportunity to work across multiple imaging modalities Commitment to patient-centered care and professional excellence Mee Memorial Healthcare System is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, religion, age, sex, disability, or national origin. Additional & BILLING RULES: Billing Cycle is weekly. Any missed meals and breaks must be pre-approved by Supervisor prior to missing and will be paid with proof of approval. Overtime Policy: The overtime rate for any hours worked in excess of 40 hours/week shall be billable at the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The holiday rate shall be defined as the Regular Hourly Rate plus $10/hr. The on-call rate shall be defined in the Job Posting. Note: For any 10-hour or 12-hour shifts, the Agency is to invoice MMH the All-Inclusive Rate for the entire shift. There is no elevated billing allowed for hours 9, 10, 11 & 12. Housing can be somewhat difficult to find. The facility prefers credentialing be sent in one batch. It is acceptable and encouraged to provide updates but please send compliance all at the same time once completed.
