The Prenatal Diagnosis Coordinator serves as a coordinator of functions, processes and services for the Prenatal Diagnostic service. Functions as the Hospital liaison for service line development and marketing. Works in collaboration with outside agencies and physicians, as needed, Hospital leadership, staff, and other departments throughout the organization to ensure operational effectiveness, market development, and high quality patient interactions. Responsible for the implementation and monitoring of policies, practices and systems to support and enhance the quality of services provided. Performs technical functions, counseling, and case management of prenatal diagnostic patients.Requirements: * Masters Degree in Genetic Counseling required* BLS (Basic Life Support) required within 30 days of hire or transfer into position* Preferred experience includes a--minimum three (3) years GPO contracts, purchasing and vendor product knowledge, preferably in the healthcare field* American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) Diplomate or Diplomate Active Candidate Status required* Five years' experience in applicable medical genetics setting* Bilingual skills preferredHours, Compensation and Benefits: This is a full time position and offers a robust benefits plan and a competitive salary based on experience.
