Volt is immediately hiring for a Lead Maintenance Tech in
Firebaugh, CA.
As a Lead Maintenance Tech you will:
Be responsible for all aspects of plant maintenance, focusing on
production equipment and preventive and predictive maintenance.
This role involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and
optimizing mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and
pneumatic systems within the production facility.
Perform shutdowns, startups, and equipment cleaning.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment and the
facility.
Diagnose and resolve issues to maintain efficiency and
reliability.
Assist in root cause analysis for equipment failures.
Monitor and adjust production flows and equipment parameters.
Troubleshoot and repair electrical, structural, plumbing, and
mechanical issues.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and complete
documentation.
Support the maintenance team and assist with equipment upgrades and
repairs.
Ensure compliance with food safety and employee safety
protocols.
Leadership Responsibilities:
Train maintenance technicians on essential duties.
Plan, execute, and oversee maintenance tasks.
Manage inventory with the inventory coordinator to ensure parts
availability.
Coordinate with third-party vendors for repairs and special
projects.
Assign tasks and provide feedback to team members.
Document and communicate detailed shift pass-downs.
Address safety hazards and enforce corrective actions.
Inspect and maintain tools and equipment for the team.
Distribute preventive maintenance tasks to technicians.
Escalate significant downtime issues to supervisors or
managers.
This is a Full-Time opportunity
The ideal candidate will have:
Familiarity with industrial maintenance procedures, machinery, and
tools.
Proficiency in reading blueprints and technical documentation.
Knowledge of safety practices and hazard recognition.
Competence with hand and power tools.
Ability to prioritize tasks, communicate effectively, and maintain
a clean work environment.
High school diploma or GED.
At least three years of experience in industrial maintenance,
including repair of equipment such as bucket elevators, conveyors,
and roasters.
Pay Range: $29-$35 Depending on experience
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
